SOFT FLUFFY POORI

Poori of my liking is hot fluffy poori with

Potato curry.

Poori is an oily breakfast item ,but definitely a

tasty one.

Perfection of poori lie in dough and pan used

for frying poori.

Ingredients

Wheat flour 1 cup

Salt to taste

Water at room temperature 1/2 cup

Sugar 2 tablespoon optional

Oil or ghee :half teaspoon ( refined oil) for smooth consistency

Curd 2 tablespoon optional

Method

Take measured wheat flour and salt in

container . Mix thoroughly and add half

teaspoon of oil to this.

Keep mixing this uniform.

Now take water (room temperature) adding

little by little and mix kneading the dough

Until it becomes little thick dough.

Dont make it smooth like chapatis dough

Now keep it aside for half an hour.

Start making small balls of lemon size

And press it .( Not very thin)

Heat oil in china kadai or nonstick kadai.

Keep it in medium flame and start frying poori.

Just turn once and fluffy poori is ready.
