Payyoli chicken fry
Ingredients
For marination
Chicken 250 gram
Garlic 8
Ginger 1 tablespoon
Lime 1
Shallots 8
Green chill 3
Turmeric 2 tsp
Chilli powder kashmiri 3 tablespoon
Garam masala 2 tsp
Fenugreek 5 in no
Salt to taste
Red dried chilli soaked in hot water for 10 minutes 5
For garnishing
Garlic crushed with motor and pestle
Curryleaves
Grated coconut 1 cup
Left over masala
Steps
Rub chicken with lime
Mixer grind all the ingredients for marination except lime
Marinate chicken with the paste and keep aside for 2 hours
In a kadai heat coconut oil or other vegetable oil and fry the chicken
Keep it aside.
Mix leftover masala to grated coconut and add salt if needed.
Fry the grated coconut,curry leaves and garlic and then layer over the chicken.
